They can be located anywhere and with the way the Web can boost or destroy a brand in equal measures, it's something that needs to be looked at more seriously. I agree wholeheartedly about monitoring one's online reputation. For small businesses and solo entrepreneurs, this is something that many Virtual Assistants will offer as a service...online reputation management. Not only can they monitor your reputation but it's a good idea to monitor the competition or those who are successful in your industry for tips on things they are doing that might be of use to you. It's a good idea for anyone or company who is going to enter to the social media foray to also be monitoring one's reputation.
