		<description>It does seem strange that so many companies are still adhering to the scatter gun approach - blast everything in sight and hope some sticks. Sure, it will work sometimes, but the success factor is shrinking all the time. Channeling energies into focused approaches - internally as well as externally - has to be the way forward.

It&#039;s funny when potential SEO clients approach me and I ask them to describe their audience, it&#039;s something like &quot;everyone&quot;.  That makes it very hard to target the right search phrases, never mind create the right links and the right content that will draw a big audience beyond just the search engine rankings.  Oh well. </description>
