After debating whether to move my blog commenting system over to DISQUS, I’ve finally decided to go ahead and do it.
(Update November 30 2009 – I have moved back to the WordPress comments system, you can find out why here.)
I’ve actually had the system on my blog before, prior to changing to the Thesis (now Headway) theme.
Then, for some reason, DISQUS just wouldn’t work. I’m not technical enough to understand why not – suffice to say I went back to the standard WordPress comments.
Now though, with both an upgraded Thesis Headway and WordPress, DISQUS seems to be my friend again. And with the new social media additions since my last dabble, I’m curious enough to try again.
(Plus it’s a nice excuse to have a picture of a pretty girl on my post).
So, currently my existing WordPress comments are being synced over to DISQUS so the comment count may show zero in numerous (if not all) posts. Hopefully this shouldn’t take too long and is a minor inconvenience if you’re trying to find a previous comment.

Disqus is Great! Currently there are some “comment plugins” which can let a page have function of comment.The best one I know is Disqus With greater control and commenter profiles. this plugins is really cool, I love it. Thanks for Sharing..

Disqus are very well suited for social media marketing communication, and this is search engine friendly so. You got the best choice.. gud luck..

It’s funny that you struck out “Thesis” and added “Headway” despite not using Disqus at this moment in time. Maybe add an update at the top of the post that you’re not using the system anymore?

Disqus is used for leave a comments on any blog that uses the system without registering over again. And you can track your comment history across all of those blogs, or see comment history for other users.
