I never knew much about Bruce Campbell until my sister loaned me his autobiography, "If Chins Could Kill" and I had a blast reading it. I don't even like horror movies. Well, if it weren't for his connection with a relative of mine mentioned in the book, I would've never looked at it. So now I cheer for him whenever I see him.

That's an actor who knows how to market and give value. Another one is Niecy Nash. That flower thing? It's to help you remember her. It may annoy some folks, but you gotta admit the trademark paid off.

Very good points. I have to agree with them especially if you do not support your cause then how can you market it? I don't understand how that could happen. I could have been apart of something but I didn't believe in the product so I didn't take the position. NO matter how much they wanted me to be involved it wasn't working.

Irreverent is my middle name... ;-)

I recall seeing Army of Darkness in the cinema when it came out. At the time, I was a little underwhelmed - I felt it concentrated just a little too much on the comedy side. Over repeated views, I've come to enjoy it a lot more. So I guess takeaway #4 is: "Slow burning is usually better than a blast of heat. Bright lights can burn out fast but conserved energy prepares you for a longer stay."

Thanks Ching!

Not in a million years would I see a blog post connecting Bruce Campbell with any marketing ideas. I had the greatest time enjoying an informative read, and drifting down the memory lane when I hid behind the couch when watching Army of darkness, Evil Dead..C'mon I was just less than 8 that time! I even caught him as Brisco County, TV drama and that show cracks me up big time. Well done on sharing the marketing ideas -- a big tip for the BC fans.

@wchingya
Social/Blogging Tracker

This is great Danny! "Choice is good, but confusion is dangerous. Be innovative but be smart." Smart innovation is often missed and kills many plans. Simplistic innovation with value... delivered consistently wins the game. P.S. Bill is absolutely hilarious :-)
