Trust Agents is a new book on social media marketing by Chris Brogan and Julien Smith,t’s a stand-out piece of work among the great wash of “gee, isn’t social media great” books that say nothing new or original.There's a lot of great examples in the book,The book was also good at reinforcing what I already believed to be true, just with more concrete examples. Chris and Julien say a lot of the same things I say–except when they say it, it comes across as much more intelligent and insightful–I'll have to work on that.Its truly a very good book to read.

Great interview! The book is fantastic and while beyond informative, it was very comfortably written. I felt like I was having a fantastic conversation with the two authors. You should also check out Matt Kain's review: http://www.thesearchagents.com/2009/09/trust-ag... He has some great insight into the topic and a fantastic sketch of Chris Brogan's day! Despite the really annoying over hyping of this book (CB certainly has become the perfect example of “that guy”) I'll probably get it if ever a Kindle version shows up.

Hey,

yes you are right.. Brian Clark is co-founder. I'm not sure if he was always a co-founder though.. but I could be wrong. In any case - I actually made a random video blog about Trust Agents yesterday (you'll have to forgive the quality and lack of preparedness but I'll improve overtime). Cheers Michael, it was a blast chatting with Chris – so much great information, the guy's a walking soundbite! It's definitely a book worth reading for anyone even remotely interested in doing business on the web.

Jesus, how is it this post has no comments, yet? What a great interview! I especially loved Brogan's comments on dealing internet fame and transparency. Well worth a listen. Currently reading Trust Agents and loving it.
