I got to know this Remembrance Day tradition on November 11 when I was studying in Manchester and really think it is a very good thing to visibly express commemoration for the sacrifice of veterans and civilians in World War I.
We didn't have such a visible tradition in Germany, but it seems to spread here as well now. And I support it.
