Hi,

first of all nice blog Danny

I was just about to purchase a Thesis WP theme and then I stumbled on headwaythemes and now I'm in a delimma, i saw your comments at jonhhaydon's blog and now reading saying that you previously switched from thesis to this theme any reason why?

I can't decide which is better, I did hours of research and all but I cant seem to get an answer.

I have literally zero CSS,PHP skills, which one do you recommend?

I'll return to this page to check if you have replied
thanks in advance!

Agreed, Alison, although what I prefer with Headway over Thesis is that it's on-screen in front of you; no need to jump back and forth and save. Also, you can re-arrange the child and "sub-child" page tabs to anywhere you want; you're not stuck with how they drop in. And you can place separate lines, etc, between tabs without having to dive into the CSS code.

For someone like me that just wants to concentrate on blogging and not worry about tiresome code when I want to change things up, this puts Headway miles above the rest. :)

Cheers for stopping by!

The premium Thesis theme also has this easy drop-down function. I really love how these developers are making our lives so much easier!

Hey there Karl,

The great thing with Headway is that anyone can use it. It's great for me, as I'm no coder, yet it also uses the WordPress hooks system and full CSS and XHTML if you're a developer and really want to get your hands dirty.

And Clay (the developer) is always tinkering to help the end user experience - and you can't ask for much more than that. :)

I've been looking into Headway recently and this does, as you say, make things really 'simple' for the end user.
