Hi Danny,
We had a little girl at my son's school who had an experience with the homeless people that live here in Colorado Springs, CO. She organized a drive for blankets. I am not sure how many we received by I know I gave like 6 that we didn't use anymore. It is a problem and with the economy the way it is right now and people not being able to afford a warm place, we all need to take part in helping as we never know when we could be the one that needs blankets.
Great job!

Dear Danny,

In lieu of my usual Christmas cocktail party, I'm hosting a charity shopping party tomorrow, Sunday, Dec. 13th at Sports Basement Presidio. I've asked guests to bring or buy a gift for a kid and bring their gently used coats. They will enjoy some simple snacks and cold beers and a 15% shopping discount. But another 5% will also be donated with the toys and coats to Glide Memorial Church here in San Francisco to help needy families.

Whatever I collect will be help. I'm just hoping that I get a great turn-out.

Wow Lydia, that's amazing - thank you, and here's to you having a great day!

That is awesome, Kim, and like you say, it's easy for us to help in ways we might not have thought of.
