Thank You
Like any of the best innovations in life, social media doesn’t stand still.
Constantly evolving, always re-inventing itself to meet new challenges and overcome new detractors.
If you’re not careful, you can miss a lot of what’s going on. Like making new friends and acknowledging the fact, for example.
I’m guilty of that, I’m sorry to say – although in my defense, it’s not because I’m deliberately being a selfish jerk! Anyone that knows me would say I’m a reasonably nice guy (I hope, anyway!) and that I always try and show appreciation or support. Which makes me realize that I’ve neglected to thank people that deserve it – you.
Whether you follow me on Twitter , or have me as a friend on Facebook, or subscribe to this blog you’re showing that, for whatever reason, you want to know me. Even if you just stop by here occasionally, you’re offering time from your day to see what I have to say – and I really appreciate that.
So, to anyone and everyone that has ever listened to anything I’ve said, Tweeted, written about or more and still keeps coming back for more -

I may not always reply, or get back to you as soon as I’d like to. But it doesn’t mean I’m not listening or reading. I truly appreciate your time and investment in anything I ever say. Here’s hoping I can keep making it worth your while.

You’re very welcome, Danny. I believe you get back what you put out and between your professional work, causes you support, personal commentaries, and just daily friendliness, you put out alot.
Thank you for just putting it out there.The beauty of social media is that we can make so many new friends, yet the downside is that the days don’t get any longer and it becomes difficult to keep up with all the connections we’ve made.
The beauty of reading this blog is that with every word your intent is to reach out & communicate with us all. Even when it’s not one-on-one, the conversation is very real and meaningful. That’s an amazing gift Danny!

Thank you, Danny, because of you and others, I have learned to navigate through social media and been able to find ways to use it to communicate with people who would never meet me through other channels. No, Danny, I guess you missed my big announcement. After 12 years with Wausau Whitewater as the Operations Manager, I resigned last week to focus on my 25+ year career as a career industry professional. The journey is recounted here: http://designresumes.com/blog/2009/12/end-of-an-era/ http://www.WausauWhitewater.org will continue on with great events, training, and recreation and I will watch sometimes from the river bank instead of hiding under my tent with my computer. It will be a whole new world.
