Danny - I went through the set up last night and didn't see a place to add in my favorites. It's still pretty darn cool though. Would love a tool like this combined with the ability to have my RSS feeds altogether. Maybe Feedly does it? I never have fully delved into that.

Danny - I had not heard of Guzzle until I read your post. I am so going to try it out. Interested to see if they allow me to put in my favorite RSS feeds as well so I could have my "searches" combined with my favs.

Hi Robyn,

I have seen Lazyfeed, and while it's quite cool, I think they're maybe two different products? I see Guzzle more as a defined news aggregator, while Lazyfeed is more pop culture (although that's obviously defined by the user).

But it's great to see the online user experience continue to be improved for everyone. :)

Danny - I just signed up for Guzzle and while it seems to deliver what it promises - I don't really see a difference between Guzzle and Lazyfeed (which is my fave of the moment).

Have you tried Lazyfeed? http://www.lazyfeed.com/

I think the video would have been more effective had it taken the different approach of really saying what the platforms in question couldn't do. Anyhoo... ;-)

As I mention in the post, it has its foibles at the minute (perhaps due to not trawling enough search engines or news feeds).

However, as a simple and fast news aggregator, with resources and links along with a good-looking layout, I think Guzzle has a lot of potential.

It depends on what you need to be collating, and it doesn't rate sentiment (currently), but it's not a bad addition to existing platforms.

Cheers Paul :)

Can't make my mind up whether or not Guzzle is a joke, Danny. Prompted I think by this fantastic video about Gink: http://bit.ly/9pcMdD

Assuming it's not, however, how would you actually rate Guzzle in terms of a free tool? Worth my time really getting to know and use, or...not really...?!
