The great thing about social media (and blogs that talk about social media and how it can be used for personal, business, blogging, marketing and more) is that there’s a ton of information available on how it can benefit you.

Hopefully, over the space of the last two years or so, this blog has offered you some tips, advice, strategy, call it what you will, that has helped you understand this cool toolset we call social media.

Just in case you missed any of these posts, here are some specific ones collected into one quick bookmarking option. I hope you find them useful.

Note: Each link opens in a new window, so you probably don’t want to open all at once.

And as an added bonus, here’s a chat I had with the awesome David Siteman Garland yesterday over at his Rise to the Top show, where we talk about (amongst other things) social media “success”.

Enjoy!

At Haljine we use Social Media almost exclusively as a marketing tool to promote our product. As we are based in Bosnia&Herzegovina we have been able to attract 35.000 fans with really low PPC Facebook ads and are now using the benefits of a huge fan base. On the other hand I have recently started using social media for my blog specialised on recumbent exercise bike using Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and several other tools to build high quality backlinks.

My but you've been busy. :) Enjoyed the video immensely. Kudos for your social consciousness and charity work as well. You're the foremost example in my mind for how to do that well and make a difference.

I love making posts like this so I'd like to offer the following tip - break down the list into chunks of 10 (helps with the eyes) and perhaps alphabetize them or group them in specific categories.

I liked 3 Simple Ways to Be Cleverly Quiet in Social Media - my RSS feedreader is my true friend. :)

@remarkablogger Hey there, Michael, thanks sir. :)

The great thing about social media is it allows us to connect with amazing people that are always willing to help. I know half the stuff over at 12for12k would never have happened without the support of these folks, and for that I'm eternally grateful. :)

@mikepedersen Well the good thing is, you can pick and choose which ones seem the best suited to you, mate, so maybe we can turn that into a smiley instead. :)
