We Are the Supercool

We are the supercool

We are the supercool.

That’s not a smug or ego-stroking statement. It’s more a statement of celebration.

Why are we supercool?

We’re the conversationalists. We’re the network communities. We’re the end user champions. We’re helping to transform business into the way it’s meant to be played.

We’re the brand evangelists that the brands are listening to. We’re not the mouthpieces; we’re simply the words. But the words are being heard. We’re the provider and receiver of the eyeballs.

We’re the new storytellers and the old story sharers. We have a mass media appeal with a core media approach. We’re here to help and educate; we’re here to be helped and be educated. Our stories are the ones that are helping shape our needs and the people, and businesses, that want to meet them and meet us.

We’re no longer me; we’re now we.We’re no longer I; we’re now us.

We share; we learn; we teach; we absorb; we support; we offer; we respect; we build; we talk. Most of all, we converse.

We are at the dawn of the socialization age.

Isn’t that reason to feel supercool?

That's a supercool paradox :) appreciate it!

The Aztecs and ancient Egyptians had it right. Look what they built as a team. We are back to that in a different capacity now. The correlation is obscure by kinda cool when you think about it. Rock on, bud.

You know who I always look to for teamwork and collaboration, mate? Ernest Shackleton and his crew. Yes, he was their leader and boss, but he was also "one of them", and that showed in how they worked together to get out a certain death sentence. Here's to teams. :)

G'Day Danny, Our seventh grandchild arrived about a month ago. That's supercool! Our son, Dominic, married two years ago at age forty. He figures that he's the supercoolest dude on the planet. It's a joy to see. Smartens up one's perspective, I can tell you. By the way: how's your recent arrival and supercoolness source coming along? Remember Danny: spoil 'em like mad when they're little. It's the only chance they'll get. Best Wishes, your supercool Celt from Down Unda, Leon

That is great news, mate, so happy for you and your family! I married late too (38) and glad I waited for the right one. :) My little girl is awesome, mate - she completes the family that Ewan started. And don't worry, I'm on a mission to keep them respectably spoiled (my wife ensures I don't go too far, hehe). Cheers, sir, and take it easy, Danny.

Hey Danny, This brought the story of the Tower of Babel to mind. The theory was, all these folks who were working together, one mind and one language, could ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING THEY PUT THEIR MINDS TO, including building a dang tower to the heavens and God's throne! Yes, we fortunate to be part of the super cool; but at this time in history and where this new, exciting and fledgling industry stands today, its much bigger than just being cool. I guarantee you history will be made and the world will not only be watching, but it will be a joined people, who with the help of technology, will once again be that one voice and mind that can do anything they put their minds to. The only barriers to overcome are the shit-idiots (most of which are politicians and bankers) who want to influence, dominate and control the global population because of their demented minds, out of control ego's, lust for power & wealth and supreme-being complex. I say lets kick their ass and take the planet back :p Cheers Mate!

You know, when you look at all that's been achieved for good through social media - helping the Egyptian uprisings, amber alerts having a faster and happier ending, etc - it's definitely a time to be optimistic, mate. Now if only we could encourage those that think it's still a fad... ;-)

Speaking my mind - this is the first time I don't like a post you've written. Regards,

Hi Limor, No worries - as I've always said on this blog, I write the stuff I'd want to read myself. Everything else - readers, subscribers, comments, etc, - is a nice bonus. Cheers!
