The world is changing. There’s a new feeling of optimism in the air as a new President-elect is about to step into power and hopefully lead the world to better times. Yet there is still so much suffering and neglect happening right now. Darfur, in western Sudan, is one such example. For six years the region has been ravaged and destroyed by war, genocide and anarchy. The innocent victims – the children, the elderly, the infirm, the families – are being forced from their homes and fleeing for their lives. Thousands don’t make it. Are we to leave them to their fate, or can we change what’s happening in Darfur now, before it’s too late?
