Introducing Sunday Brunch

Sunday Brunch with Danny Brown

Last week, I asked for your help in coming up with a name for a new series I’m starting on the blog. With more than 80 comments (some including multiple suggestions), it was really hard to choose from the very awesome names you came up with.

After a sifting process and a lot of back and forth over the final few, the new series is going to be called Sunday Brunch, as suggested by Phil McDonnell.

The name is the one that sums up the new series perfectly – it’s on a Sunday; each post will be going live at 11.00am (Eastern); and the posts will be more of a nice, relaxed video approach as opposed to the text posts normally found here.

So, as of next Sunday, the new Sunday Brunch will be going live. Answering your questions on everything from marketing, social media, building brand loyalty, etc, I hope it’ll be a nice regular stopover for your blog reading travels.

You can use the form below to send in your questions, and I’ll pick one at the end of the week for the post next Sunday (and so on). And if you have a favourite spot where you go for brunch, use the file upload option to send in a picture of it and I’ll use alongside the post, with full credit to you (thanks for the suggestion, Tim).

Thanks again for all your help, everyone, I really do appreciate it, and cheers for the suggestion, Phil – I’ll be in touch soon for your mailing address to send a little thank you parcel out.

Look forward to seeing your questions!

Got a question on marketing? Social media? Business? Strategy? Something similar? Cool - just send it in here, and it could be picked to be discussed on my Sunday Brunch question-and-answer series every Sunday.

Don't forget to include your web address and where people can find you online. And if you have a picture of your favourite brunch place, upload it and I'll post alongside your question.

Cheers, and look forward to hearing from you!

thank you Danny!...looking forward to it, and yes, I will have tons of questions!

just to clarify this will be a video blog that I can watch anytime not just on Sunday?

Hi Cecilia,

Yep - the videos are recorded and then available to watch at any time. :)

Great name Danny! Good on you Phil! :) Can't wait to share Sunday Brunch with you! Take care!

Great idea Danny. Look forward to your brunch and I'll be having my Sunday supper so it works out well. For once the time difference won't make any difference it not being live.

Sunday Brunch it is Danny! Great choice and an even greater suggestion by Phil :).

I like Tim's idea a lot - it's great of you to include that option.

I may cheat and send you one of a late night breakfast though lol.

I'm looking forward to this live session Danny. I just hope the delay time with my connection won't be ridiculous.

Good luck Mr. Brown - I'm sure you're gonna' have your share of questions to answer here.

Cheers

I just browsed on over here and I am in shock! I can't believe that I actually won! I am so happy...

When you first posted about your idea it just came to me a simple Sunday Brunch chat. I could imagine you would sit in a nice cafe an chat to a friend about social media or marketing, etc...

So cool, thanks Danny for choosing my name and I wish you the best of luck with the series. I for one can't wait to see the first post this Sunday...

I'm looking forward to some Sunday Brunch's at your place Danny - I'm sure you'll serve up some nutritious meals mate :)

Haha, you and your metaphors, mate - nice! :)

Nice one Danny and congratulations to Phil.
Don't forget Phil... let us all know what you buy with your prize money. LOL

Really looking forward to my first Sunday Brunch.
My mouth's watering already.

Cheers, Keith, looking forward to having you over here - can't wait to get started!

Complete positive stuff.

Cheers, Kevin, and thanks for the question. :)

Sunday supper in Perth sounds the perfect backdrop, Patricia - look forward to sharing your downtime, and feel free to send any questions this way too. :)

That would work - your late night breakfast is probably my late morning brunch anyhoo. :)

Hmm, maybe I should have worded the post better. No need to worry about any alarms, miss - the post itself isn't live, it'll be a pre-recorded video based on the question chosen for that week. Then, obviously any follow-up in the comments.

Sorry for any confusion! :)

Ooops - totally my bad for misunderstanding that here Danny - and thanks for clearing that up.

Regardless - live or not - it's still gonna' rock and be a great learning experience.

Although the live thing would kinda be interesting to try out as well - maybe as a next step later on ;).

Cheers

Our late night breakfasts here (3 to XX am) are just about as rich and heavy as a good brunch. Pretty scary lol! Eating at the wee hours of the night/dawn is almost like a tradition here hehe ;).

Danny: Dig the name for the series and great idea on having folks submit photos of their favorite lunch spots :-)

Cheers, Ricardo, and yep, that was a stroke of genius from Tim on the image idea. :)

Perfect choice - suggests comfort and familiarity. I meant to weigh in with suggestions, but nothing remotely good as this :-)

Perhaps readers can submit pics of their Sunday brunch excursions every week (like the one in this post) and you can choose one to accompany the next week's post. Not sure how they would submit the pics, but just a thought.

Tim - that's an awesome suggestion, mate, just updated the form to offer a file upload option. Cheers!
